For all you football fanatics, here’s a little sports update on what’s going on in the NFL.

NY Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, underwent an ankle debridement procedure last Friday (April 10th) due to prolonged pain and swelling from season finale game against the Washington Redskins.

NFL teams starting to think of their off season practices, Eli suffered the sprained midway through the game, and with recovery and rehabilitation, Manning’s sprain worsened hence forth to scheduling the procedure here in Charlotte, NC by Dr. Robert Anderson. The procedure is to mainly clean out the ankle, clearing any wounds and allowing the ankle to heal. With a little discomfort, Manning will have trouble running the first six weeks.

The Giants will start two weeks of strength, conditioning and rehabilitation on April 21, with organized team activities beginning May 28.
